This 11-story hotel will be located at 655 S. Gulfview Boulevard, on the Gulf of Mexico overlooking Clearwater Pass. The project was approximately 315,000 gross square feet and included structured parking for 106 cars. It was designed as a concrete-framed structure using 9" thick post-tensioned flat plates.

Structures One designs all of its own post-tensioning. The structural challenges that were solved included designing for a 140 mph hurricane wind zone, designing for hurricane storm surge (the project was in a VE Zone), and over coming the inherent building torque resulting from eccentric shear wall locations (the views had to be maintained!)
