This project is a 3-story residence at 811 East Washington Street in the Lake Lawsona Historic District of Orlando, Florida. The residential building will consist of two units at 3,700 square feet and a public art gallery of 1,446 square feet. The art gallery will be a significant contribution to the downtown Orlando arts district as well as the local neighborhood. The structural challenges of this project included an unusual geometry, multiple cantilevers, and long span framing to create an open and airy spaces.
